What an unforgettable journey. Exploring Uganda by bike is unlike any other experience. It brings you close to the local communities, who are incredibly warm and welcoming.
The unpaved roads – affectionately known as the “African massage” – give the ride a real sense of adventure. Thanks to my e-bike, I was able to enjoy the spectacular scenery without feeling worn out by the time I reached each lodge.
One of the highlights of the trip was the gorilla trek in Bwindi National Park. Seeing these remarkable animals in their natural habitat was simply breathtaking.
The support throughout the journey was outstanding. Our driver, Abdul, and cycling guides, Michael and Peter, were always helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to travel with. You can tell that Claudia from CvA Travel has put a great deal of care and passion into creating this experience.
A truly special journey that I would happily recommend to anyone. I’ll certainly be travelling with CvA Travel again. 😊
