Event: The Tour of Karamoja

The Tour of Karamoja is a cycling tradition, straight through unspoilt Uganda, with the aim of having a positive impact on the image of north-eastern Uganda, promoting tourism there and giving the girls of the Matany Girls Vocational School a chance to go to school. By taking part in this event you therefore make a valuable and important contribution to the community. On the “Warrior Nomad Trail” you discover the real Uganda: across savannah plains, cycling among the wildlife, through forests, over rolling hills and finishing in Kidepo Valley National Park. The Tour of Karamoja consists of 709 kilometres, 5,270 metres of climbing and 8 stages, and is a pleasure from start to finish.
