South Africa, a destination that keeps surprising you

South Africa is a country of contrasts. You cycle through vast semi-deserts, along rugged coastlines and across impressive mountain scenery. One day, you are riding along endless gravel roads where you barely see another person; the next, you come face to face with elephants, giraffes or zebras on safari. As if that were not enough, you round off your trip in bustling Cape Town, where the ocean, mountains and city come together. It is precisely this variety that makes South Africa such a special cycling destination.
