We’ve just returned from a wonderful two-week cycling journey from Laos to Vietnam. For this trip, we rented three mountain bikes and were accompanied by an experienced cycling guide, while our luggage was conveniently transported by car. Everything was impeccably arranged. We stayed in simple yet clean accommodation in some places, particularly in the more remote areas. The route through northern Laos was breathtaking, offering us a rare glimpse into the country’s lesser-populated regions. Crossing into Vietnam was a memorable moment — we suddenly found ourselves in a livelier yet still authentic landscape. One of the absolute highlights was Sapa, especially the ascent of Mount Fansipan – an experience we would recommend to anyone. The journey concluded in Hanoi, where the contrast between the tranquillity of the countryside and the city’s vibrant energy was striking.
It was a magnificent trip, organised by a superb team who took care of every detail to perfection.
