The Tour of Karamoja is a celebrated cycling tradition, cutting through the raw beauty of northeastern Uganda. Its goal? To reshape the image of this untouched region, promote local tourism, and support girls from the Matany Girls Vocational School in gaining access to education. By participating in this unique event, you’re contributing directly to the community.
Inspired by the Tour of Karamoja, CvA travel has created two alternative journeys: the Alternative Route and the Alternative Route Pro. These routes are perfect for those who missed the event – or who prefer to experience the same powerful landscapes and purpose without the crowds.
They’re more flexible, more affordable, and available outside the high season (July and August). And they’re designed for different levels, making them accessible to a broader range of riders.
